Welcome to Signal Tracker ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

2.1 Location Data

We collect precise location data (GPS coordinates) to:

• Display your current position on the map
• Measure signal strength at specific locations
• Show nearby cell towers
• Create signal strength heat maps

This data is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to our servers.

2.2 Network Information

We collect cellular network information including:

• Signal strength (RSRP, RSRQ, RSSNR)
• Network type (2G/3G/4G/5G)
• Cell tower information (Cell ID, PCI)
• Carrier name

2.3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenCellID: We query OpenCellID's public database to retrieve cell tower locations. Only cell tower IDs are sent, not your personal location.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): We display advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Display real-time signal measurements
• Create signal strength visualizations and heat maps
• Provide historical signal data and analytics
• Show nearby cell tower information
• Improve app functionality

4. Data Storage and Security

All signal measurements and location data are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not transmit this data to any remote servers (except OpenCellID queries as mentioned above).

5. Permissions Required

The app requires the following permissions:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Required to obtain GPS coordinates and cell tower information
• READ_PHONE_STATE: Required to read cellular network information
• INTERNET: Required for cell tower lookups and advertisements
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to detect network type

6. Third-Party Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Serve personalized ads based on your interests
• Measure ad performance
• Limit the number of times you see an ad

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data
